The highlight of
biking for me, is when at the TT in 1999 Phillip McCallen
borrowed my R1 for charity, and completed two laps of the TT course, two
punters paid £600 each to go pillion with Phillip McCallen,
later he signed my bike, (TT tested by Phillip McCallen TT99),
as you can imagine I was over the moon. Then some clown did a u turn in
front of me, now all I have is the signed seat unit of my R1, it has its own
place in my shed forever. Let me know what your highlight of your biking
world is, I will do a section on it. |

I

I like to go to Bike shows to see what's new, also to be able to sit on
some exciting new models before they're in the shops (I do
mean the bikes!), Sheffield is a
good show to go to. http://www.sheffield-arena.co.uk/

Go to
stunt shows to watch Dave Coates rip his number plate of his R1,
monster stopies and burnouts. My wife Sam is his number 1 fan.
Dave gave her his old helmet it now lives in our front room
